About
Franklin Services LLC: Solo Legal Practice of Aaron Franklin, Esq.
After 15 years working in leading legal and financial institutions, Aaron Franklin opened his solo practice in Vermont in January 2026 to bring global quality service to local businesses and communities.
Prior to relocating full time to Vermont, from 2020-2025 he was a managing director at a global financial institution, serving clients across North and South America.
From 2012-2020, he was an attorney at one of the world’s largest law firms (Latham & Watkins), representing some of the world's most sophisticated public companies, investment banks and funds.
From 2010-2012, Aaron clerked for the Honorable Judge Timothy Stanceu at the U.S. Court of International Trade.
Aaron received his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center, where he graduated in the top 1% of his class with a certificate in World Trade Organization studies. He received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
Aaron is licensed to practice law in Vermont and New York and is admitted to practice at the U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts for the District of Vermont. He has completed the Export Control Compliance Institute certificate exams for International Trade in Arms Regulations and Export Administration Regulations.
Aaron is also a member of the Board of Directors of Black River Innovation Campus, based in Springfield, Vermont.
